AANHPI Heritage Month Exhibition – May 1 - May 23
NoBo Bus Stop Gallery, Boulder, CO
The Colorado South Asian Artists Group (C-SAAG) invites submissions for Threaded Narratives: South Asian Artists in Colorado, a group exhibition celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month.
Threaded Narratives: Weaving South Asian Identity in Colorado brings together South Asian artists living and working across Colorado. The exhibition centers the many threads that shape who we are - connections to home, memory, land, migration, and belonging.
This exhibition invites artists to reflect on the visible and invisible threads that connect us — to people, places, practices, and histories we carry with us. These threads may emerge through cultural traditions, migration, memory, or everyday lived experience, and how they are adapted, reshaped, or reimagined within the Colorado landscape.
Curated by Bala Thiagarajan.
Open to members of C-SAAG (Colorado South Asian Artists Group)
Artists must have South Asian heritage (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives)
Must be based in Colorado
